By enrolling in this course, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Course Access & Timeframe
- Access Period: Your enrollment grants you access to the course materials for 4 months (120 days) from the date of purchase.
- Expiration: Access to videos, resources, and the course platform will automatically expire at the end of the 120-day period. It is the student's responsibility to manage their time to complete the material within this window.
2. Pre-Readings & Course Requirements
- Pre-Readings: Students acknowledge that certain pre-readings found on the course syllabus (see syllabus list below) are required for the successful completion of this course. By enrolling, you agree to complete all designated readings as outlined in the course syllabus to ensure full participation and theological integration.
- Certification: If you are taking this course for certification or graduate credit, you must complete all videos, readings, and the final exam with a passing grade (typically 80% or higher).
3. Individual Use & Security
- Personal Use Only: This course is licensed for individual use only. Sharing course content, videos, or workbooks with groups or individuals who have not paid for enrollment is strictly prohibited.
- No Account Sharing: You agree to maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials. You shall not share your username or password with any other person. Detection of multiple IP logins or account sharing may result in immediate termination of course access without a refund.
4. Refund Policy
- 24-Hour Window: Refund requests made within 24 hours of purchase — and before accessing any online course content — are eligible for a full refund, minus a $30 processing fee.
- 7-Day Window: Requests made within 7 calendar days of purchase will receive a 50% refund.
- No Refunds: After 7 calendar days from the date of purchase, or once course content has been substantially accessed, no refunds will be issued.
5. Intellectual Property
All course materials, including videos, digital workbooks, and supplemental resources, are the intellectual property of the Theology of the Body Institute. No part of these materials may be reproduced, distributed, or transmitted in any form without prior written permission.

By joining the Magnifica Humanitas Forum, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Forum Access & Participation
- Free Access: The Magnifica Humanitas Forum is offered free of charge.
- Forum Format: This forum is a moderated communal journey through Pope Leo XIV's encyclical Magnifica Humanitas. It is not an academic course, certification program, graduate-credit course, or formal theological curriculum.
- Participation: Participants are invited to engage at their own level through reading, reflection, commenting, and optional video responses. Participation is encouraged but not required.
2. Readings & Forum Expectations
- Primary Reading: Participants are encouraged to read the assigned sections of Magnifica Humanitas each week in order to participate more fully in the forum conversation.
- No Certification or Credit: The Magnifica Humanitas Forum does not provide certification, academic credit, graduate credit, continuing education credit, or formal completion status.
- Personal Responsibility: Participants are responsible for engaging the readings, reflections, comments, videos, and discussions in a respectful, thoughtful, and charitable manner.
3. Community Conduct
The Magnifica Humanitas Forum is intended to be a respectful, faith-filled, and charitable space for reflection and conversation. By participating, you agree to:
- Communicate with charity, humility, and respect.
- Stay reasonably connected to the purpose of the forum.
- Avoid personal attacks, harassment, inflammatory comments, vulgarity, or hostile behavior.
- Refrain from posting spam, promotional content, solicitations, or unrelated links.
- Respect the dignity, privacy, and vulnerability of other participants.
- Avoid sharing private information about others without permission.
Theology of the Body Institute reserves the right to moderate, edit, hide, or remove posts, comments, videos, or user participation that violates these expectations or disrupts the spirit of the forum.
4. Participant Content
- By posting comments, reflections, videos, or other content in the forum, you acknowledge that your contribution may be visible to other forum participants.
- You retain ownership of your own original contributions. However, by posting in the forum, you grant Theology of the Body Institute permission to display, moderate, and use that content within the forum environment.
- Theology of the Body Institute will not publicly use participant comments, videos, names, or personal stories in marketing materials without permission, unless the content was already posted in a clearly public-facing area.
5. Privacy & Confidentiality
- Participants should treat the forum as a shared community space, not as a confidential counseling, spiritual direction, or therapeutic environment.
- Please use discretion when sharing personal information. Do not post sensitive personal details about yourself or others that you would not want visible to other participants.
- Theology of the Body Institute is not responsible for information voluntarily shared by participants within the forum.
6. No Professional Advice
- The Magnifica Humanitas Forum is offered for formation, reflection, and community discussion.
- Forum content and discussion are not intended to replace professional advice, including theological counseling, pastoral counseling, spiritual direction, legal advice, medical advice, psychological care, or financial advice.
- Participants should seek appropriate professional or pastoral support for personal, legal, medical, mental health, or spiritual concerns.
7. Refund Policy
- The Magnifica Humanitas Forum is free.
- Because there is no purchase required to participate, there are no refunds, processing fees, or paid enrollment cancellations associated with this forum.
8. Changes to the Forum
- Theology of the Body Institute reserves the right to update, modify, pause, archive, or discontinue the forum, forum materials, discussion access, or platform features at any time.
- Theology of the Body Institute may also update these Terms & Conditions as needed. Continued participation in the forum after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Agreement
By clicking “Join,” “Register,” “Enroll,” or otherwise accessing the Magnifica Humanitas Forum, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
